At Otley Netball club we want players and parents to feel comfortable to enjoy netball and do their best. We want to encourage confidence, body positivity and personal choice. We do not want to add to financial or environmental cost of lots of kit.
With the exception of match dresses, all kit is optional. Players can wear whatever style or material they feel comfortable in to train. Social players wear whatever they wish for matches.
Match dresses are ordered through our kit secretary and only required by competitive players. Second hand dresses may be sold back to the club if in useable condition. Second hand dresses may be available, please contact our kit secretary.
All other kit purchases are optional, and can be ordered directly at any time from JR Sports in Otley.
Players in our competitive squads are asked to wear Otley colours (black and white, or grey) as tops to training. School, other club or group kits are not permitted to help with teamwork and belonging.
Players should be netball ready for training and matches: nails short and smooth, hair tied back, all jewlerry removed, suitable clothes and trainers.
